Playa de la Caleta is about a 15 minuete drive away from the city centre. It has black sand, showers, parking, rest rooms, changing rooms, and a small kiosk where you can eat some very tasty fresh fish.
Everyone on the island knows this beach. It has also become very popular with visitors.
It’s a rural beach, 1.8 kilometers long and about 4 metres wide. It has a strong ocean surge (so take care when swimming).
